About the project

SeaLife is an independent guide to the Sea Breeze resort near Baku: where to eat, swim and stay, what to do, what is being built and what is happening at the resort. Every venue and project has its own guide site with facts, photos and sources, and together they are collected on this portal — with a catalog, a map, events, news and interviews.

The guide is written in Russian; the portal and some of the sites have been translated into Azerbaijani, English and Hebrew, and the rest are being translated. The idea is simple: to collect verified and honest information about the resort in one place — without advertising raptures. Where sources disagree, we show both versions.

About the author — Fariz Ashurov

Fariz Ashurov is a blogger, the author of the YouTube channel “Jewish Diaspora of Azerbaijan — Evrey iz Baku” (more than 34 thousand subscribers) and the host of the author program “From the Heart”. He shows Sea Breeze “through the eyes of a resident in love with it” — this line appears on every page of the guide.

In the “From the Heart” program Fariz talks with his guests. For example, the conversation with Rafael Guseynov, an owner of apartments in Marina Villas, is in the “Interviews” section.

Who publishes this guide

SeaLife.az is an independent guide to the Sea Breeze resort (Nardaran, Baku) and its venues. The author and publisher is Fariz Ashurov, host of the video channel “Evrey iz Baku”. This is not the official Sea Breeze website, not the developer's website (Agalarov Development / Sea Breeze Real Estate) and not the website of any of the venues described — we do not sell, do not take bookings and do not represent their interests.

Independence

We do not take money for listing venues or for positive reviews. If paid or partner placements ever appear, this will be clearly marked on the page. As a matter of principle, we do not publish links to the official websites and social media of venues — the guide exists separately from them.

Editorial policy

A fact without a source is not published. Every figure, date or claim on the site has a source — an official Sea Breeze announcement, the press, our own photos/videos from the site, or open data (OpenStreetMap, satellite imagery). When sources disagree, we show both versions rather than quietly picking one. Facts are re-checked, and the date of the latest check is shown on every venue page.

How we use AI

Some text drafts, translations and some illustrations are prepared with the help of AI tools. All factual data, sources and final wording are checked by a person (the guide's author) before publication. AI illustrations, where they appear, are labeled “illustration, created by AI” and are not passed off as real photographs of the venue.

How we build the network of sites

Every major venue of the resort gets its own separate guide site on a subdomain of the form object.sealife.az — this makes it easier to keep the facts about each place separate and to refer clearly to a specific venue. Each such site is made individually: its own design, its own facts and photos, not a single template with the name swapped.

Visit statistics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are read and where visitors come from. We do not collect personal data (names, phone numbers, email) through this service.
