From August 15 to 17, Sea Breeze hosted a series of 3x3 basketball competitions with the support of the Azerbaijan Basketball Federation and Dream Group. The program included a stop of the international FIBA 3x3 Women's Series and the second season of the sports-media project MediaBasket.

The FIBA 3x3 Women's Series stop started on August 15. 16 teams from different countries played — among them the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Latvia, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Poland, Paraguay, Egypt and Benin. Azerbaijan was represented by the national team and Neftchi SOCAR.

The deciding games were played on August 16. Neftchi SOCAR reached the quarterfinal, where it lost to Madrid 12:14 in overtime, but kept fighting and made it to the final. In the final the Netherlands national team proved stronger — 18:13. The Dutch player Ilse Kuijt was named the most valuable player of the final.

3x3 basketball is played on half a court with one hoop; a game lasts 10 minutes or until 21 points — hence the packed schedule of all three days.

In the original, the MVP's name is written as Ilse Kuijt.
